Swim Ireland announced today that the USA’s National Club Swimming Association (NCSA) will send a NCSA Junior National All Star Team of 26 males and 26 females to compete in the Irish Long Course Swimming Championships, which take place in the National Aquatic Centre, Dublin from April 29 - May 2, 2010. The All-Star Team will be selected based upon the results from the NCSA Junior National Swimming Championships, March 16-27 in Orlando, Florida.

Swim Ulster will be holding a 'Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport' workshop on two dates:

• 10th March 6.30pm-9.30pm
• 18th March 6.30pm-8.30pm

The "Bridgestone Gala" will be held in Bangor swimming pool, on  the 11th and 12th June, 2010.  

The Firestone events will continue to award £50 if you manage to break last year's time set in Larne in 2009. Swimmers should remember the rule changes in Swim Costumes, only legal suits will be allowed.

Alliance ASC, the organisers, ask that competing clubs supply timekeepers to assist in running the gala.

The gala format will remain as in previous years, but clubs will be sent more details soon.

Most clubs have made arrangements to pay the Annual Membership fee to Swim Ulster. Our insurance has already been renewed and is due for payment.
A few clubs have not made any arrangement as of 5th March 2010. In the event of any insurance claim, these clubs may find that they are not covered by our insurance policy.
